Well, Leap Day has been and gone. It is selling, and I, of Twin Wicks, am happy. Still waiting for news of the pbooks, but the ebooks are out and gaining great reviews. I get a surge of warm gooeyness whenever I receive an email stating we have a Smashwords purchase or review. If only Kindle would do the same!
But I have them. With some mistakes, which are easily rectified. Although, I still need to get off my ass and do that.
But this is all experience. I am learning, which is good. no, great. I am loving the learning process, and the opportunity that I am gaining from this huge, ongoing project. I am so happy, not just for myself and the wonderful contributors, but for the charity and the recipients of the money raised.
And if that wasn't enough, I am announcing (again!) that submissions for A Cuppa and an Armchair 2 are open - RIGHT NOW! You know you want to help us all out, and send us your lovely, creative short stories.
Equipe are also having a competition. They have finally decided that they need a logo. So they want you to design one.
We need something that is simple, that hasn't been done before. Something recognisable, and can be easily used on stationary, posters, t-shirts, etc.
Closing date is September 3, open to all ages. Please submit entries to the office, or attach to a message via the Equipe facebook page.
Good luck!"
