OK, so I should have posted this a couple of days ago, but at least I haven't waited weeks and weeks to tell you this news, right?
We have launch dates!!!!!
There are 4 dates for your diaries - May 18, May 25, June 1 and June 8. Remember them, you hear. Though I am certain that I will be writing them many times in this post, and future posts to come.
Cookies and Milk Volume 1 will be released first. Cookies and Milk Volume 2 will take the second May release date. Cookies and Milk Volume 3 take on the first day of June. With the final launch date being an actual launch held at the Creative Industries Building, Glyndwr University in Wrecsam.
Since we last spoke, we have had the addition of It's OK to Let Go by the amazing Skyler Luttrell and will be illustrated by the multi-talented Danielle Zwissler. We have also found some ways to raise even more money for the wonderful Equipe, by selling the EPUB and PDF versions direct from the website - although I am still needing to set this up and sign up for the store (which will also benefit Twin Wicks Publishing).
I have added all the events onto the facebook page - as the online launches will, once again, be held there. These have also been shared by Equipe, Twin Wicks Publishing and myself. Ziz, with previous event management experience, will take on the task of advertising the launch on June 8 (when she isn't swanning off to France that is.... Hope you and the family are having a great time, by the way!)
I have also been updating the website. Still need to add a couple of authors/illustrators that I have bios for. Still waiting for some too. Emailing everyone tonight, me thinks. I have also found out, that since changing the style and layout, some of the links no longer work - know that I know, I will get on the case. It is my job tonight.
I must say, my organisational skills are shocking. I can blame things on illness and life, but the truth is, I am not very organised. Actually, that's not true. I am very organised, it is sticking to it that I have a hard time doing. I have a free one-hour phone consultation with a life coach, and he can help with this. Let's hope it works!
Getting actual dates for release has kicked me into action, although this should have been done already. Just like my assignments. They always seem to be a last minute ditch to get done. Which, in part, is to do with the life of a single parent. Unfortunately for me, I have been looking too far ahead - I'm getting ready for our family holiday to Louisiana, and to being a graduate. I just need to remember that I actually have to do the assignments to pass to be able to graduate!
Anyway, I must do finishing touches to the assignment (for which this blog was originally started). So I will leave you with this...
